2-3's Learning Program

In the three-year-old program, we concentrate on learning and play as the social aspect is also extremely important.

Three-year-old children learn how to regulate their day through a schedule and a routine that makes them feel comfortable.

Free play strengthens social and intellectual growth while using the learning tools we supply.

Socially, at this age, children learn how to wait for their turn, share, and get along with others.

Intellectually, children are starting to learn the alphabet, letters, numbers, colors, shapes, what a number is, and more.

In science, children find experiments fascinating, learning how and why things happen.

Art is both open-ended and teacher-directed, helping with the imagination and following directions.

Pre-K Learning Program

Concepts are taught in small, approachable increments.

Distributed increments are spread throughout the year, building in complexity so that students have reached a deep understanding and fluency at the end.

Cumulative practice and assessments include concepts from the most recent lessons as well as from earlier in the year, ensuring students retain all concepts and can make connections between them.

Saxon Math

Unique Pedagogy Saxon Math™ is the only major math program on the market today that systematically distributes instruction, practice, and assessment throughout the academic year as opposed to concentrating or massing related concepts into a short period of time, usually within a unit or chapter.

Saxon Math’s unique approach to math instruction ensures that students not only gain but also retain essential math skills. No matter how well students initially learn a concept, if they are not able to retain their learning, connect it to other concepts, and apply it in problem-solving situations, they have not reached mastery.

Saxon Math is designed to support long-term mastery and application that will make a difference during testing, future education, and careers.

Scholastic Guided Reading Programs

Scholastic Guided Reading Programs support a comprehensive reading program by integrating differentiated small-group instruction, assessment, and independent practice into your classroom. Our preschool teachers begin by grouping students, then prompting, encouraging, and confirming how they apply problem-solving strategies as they read.
